20th CRSI National Symposium in Chemistry

Chemical Research Society Of India: CRSI was established in 1999 as part of the 50th Anniversary of the country’s independence. Currently, the CRSI represents around 2000 lifetime members, who participate in the study, practice, teaching and promotion of chemistry. The main objectives of the CRSI are to recognize, promote and foster talent in chemistry and chemical sciences and to improve the quality of chemical education at all levels. Gauhati University: Gauhati University is situated at Jalukbari in the Guwahati city area. The campus has a hillock on the southern side and the mighty river Brahmaputra is flowing on the northern side. CRSI National Symposium in Chemistry: CRSI National Symposium in Chemistry (CRSI-NSC) is a series of highly successful and one of the best attended symposia in chemistry that started in 1999 at IISC, Bangalore. The symposium has grown in size over the years and has attracted over 1000 participants in recent years, thus transforming itself into the most important annual Chemistry Symposium in India.

20th CRSI National Symposium in Chemistry: Gauhati University is delighted to host this CRSI National Symposium for the first time in North-East India from 2nd to 5th February, 2017. The scientific program will consist of plenary lectures, various medal lectures, invited lectures and poster presentations and will be held in B.K.B. Auditorium, Gauhati University. With great pleasure, we extend invitation to the chemistry fraternity to participate in this important event.
